If you wish to work in Health Care, you should look for a job in one of the top 100 places mentioned in industry. Modern HealthCare Magazine has published a list of top 100 companies to work with. All the companies that figure in this list are dedicated to their employees benefit. They provide a culture which fosters dedication, less attrition and high customer loyalty.

In terms of other benefits, these firms provide incentives, additional perks like insurance covers, paid holidays, new skill trainings etc. When employees feel values, they go an extra mile to perform in their work. Such employees provide best possible care to patients and are more liked then other people in same sector.

The survey conducted by Health Care Magazine was completed over a period of two months and health care firms all over the country were asked to participate. More then 238 companies had participated. Survey included questionnaires sent to employers as well as employees. That ways, the survey was very balanced also. Waynesboro Hospital was ranked number one place to work in the country.

The participation is free for companies. Such surveys give a true picture of how various health care companies treat their employees. They also serve as guides to other companies which can bring their HR polices in line with their peers ranked high in this list.

The list of best employers was made in three categories:

- Healthcare Providers
- Healthcare Payers
- Healthcare Suppliers

The first category of Healthcare Providers included all clinics, hospitals and other care giving institutions. They ranged from for profit to nonprofit organizations, from hospitals to Palliative Care Institutions. The Second category included institutions that provided care on behalf of someone. They also included both for profit and nonprofit institutions. The suppliers included all firms which supplied some form of equipment of service to patients.

The Survey methodology was primarily based on questionnaires, sent to both, employees and employers, on internet. These employees and employees who had no access to internet were provided with paper surveys and then all results were collated. Both sets of data went into making the report. This method ensures that there is no bias in results reported.

All firms which participated were sent a free report based on data analysis. Since, the number of participants from each firm was calculated on basis of company size, each survey carried a weighted average. The survey was very thorough; results were analyzed and then published.

This survey did not include companies which are located outside USA. Employers at all levels are included in these surveys. The whole survey will take about 8-10 hours.
